WILL YOU COME TO MY SCHOOL / LIBRARY / TOWN?
I'd love to! One of my greatest joys in being a writer is getting to meet readers! If you're a student who is interested in having me visit your school, let you teacher or librarian know. If you're an organizer, check out my programs and contact information here. And don't forget to check my events page to see if I'm already planning to come to your city!
ARE YOU WRITING SOMETHING NEW?
ALWAYS. I'm never not writing! Most recently, I released Bid My Soul Farewell, and I'm working on a proposal for something else that's entirely new..and another YA...and something else. I generally publish at least one book a year and have 2-3 projects going at one time. If you want to make sure you never miss a thing, subscribe to my newsletter!
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR IDEAS?
All over. I'm a curious sort of person with eclectic tastes, and I often find myself delving into books and films seeking answers to random "what if?" questions. With every work of art I see, every trip to somewhere new I take, and every fascinating individual I get a chance to meet, there are more stories for me to uncover.
WILL ANY OF YOUR BOOKS BE MADE INTO MOVIES?
Fingers crossed! I have a fantastic film agent who is actively working on this, and some film rights have sold. But whether or not this ever actually happens depends a lot on luck. If you want a movie, the best thing you can do is tell more people about the books!
